Shoko Matsuoka’s passion for shoes began when she went on a school trip to Italy and saw the finely made shoes. She set out on a mission to learn Italian and medical orthopaedic shoe making. Later she studied under Calogero Mannina for thirteen years until she finally opened her own store close at Ponte Vecchio, Florence in 2013. She now makes high quality shoes for both women and men.
