From the beginning Robinson’s was an old fashioned cobblers shop. In 1995 the shop was taken over by Robin Stewart from his father-in-law. He started with a vision to be a retailer and a repairer for top quality shoe brands . But Robin was not content merely to sell shoes from other brands and he recognised the opportunities created by employing qualified and experienced shoemakers for the repair shop. Robinsons has now begun producing and selling handmade shoes, including some that are bespoke. Their main product is Irish brogues.
