Atsushi Kuyunai learned the basics at a shoe making school, and since he was fascinated by Italian shoes that are very well designed, he decided to study abroad in Florence, Italy. He trained under Roberto Ugolini for more than 3 years. In 2010, he came back to Japan and opened 'Il Quadrifoglio'. Il Quadrifoglio means four leaves clover in Italian and the name was chosen so their shoes can bring good luck to customers.
