Axel Himer was born in 1965 in Baden-Baden and is considered as one of the best and innovative bespoke shoemakers. Under the motto “form follows function” the skilful orthopaedic and bespoke shoemaker has crafted the finest custom made shoes for all circumstances for his global customers. Since 2009 Axel Himer has been crafting custom made shoes in the Cologne branch of Himer Massschuhe.
Himer's footwear can be found in different museums and exhibitions as well as on some celebrities' feet. Even the shoe industry consults Axel Himer. He holds seminars about shoes style and shoe care throughout the world.
