Located in San Jose, you find a elegant bespoke shoemaker using methods passed on down through generation. Techniques used for hundreds of years and time and again has proved to be refined so well that it is considered the best in function, comfort and style.
Herrera shoemaker opened for business in 1951. Today the brand is run by third generation shoemaker Raphael Herrera. Raphael trained for eight years with his father Roberto, a shoemaker with 50 years of experience and he has also been working with several shoemakers from the top West End London firms.
Raphel’s aim is to provide his clients with more than just simply a pair of shoes but to give an experience that will bring the shoes to life as it will have an essence of it's own.
Herrera offers made to order and bespoke hand-lasted shoes.
The leathers used for the uppers are some of the finest French calf tanned leathers with excellent grain quality and durability. There is four primary colors in stock to select from on site, but shoes can be made in a wide range of leathers from suede, box calf, shell cordovan, crocodile, and even patent in a wide range of colors from reputable leather merchants.
