Carvil is existing since 1952 and was very famous in the 70s for its clientele of artists like Bob Dylan, Jean-Paul Belmondo and Alain Delon. Following this incredible DNA, we are revamping the brand with the wish of making relieve the French “playboy” spirit, an effortless Parisian chic. For that, we worked on our iconic shoes like the Dylan boots or the Triomphe loafers. We think that irreverent classics can be the new elegance and that why we went back to our historical factory in Italy to develop the new collection. Actually, Carvil is part of the French fashion history and it is very important for us to perpetuate this savoir-faire.
Further to this revamping, we are now sold at the Parisian concept store Colette, at Galeries Lafayette and Printemps department stores. First, it was important to come back on the French market but now we decided it was time to develop our international influence. We will launch the collection at Opening Ceremony New York and Los Angeles, at Coccodrillo, Anvers and Isetan, Japan.
