Akiyoshi Nishyama learned the basics of shoemaking while working with orthopedic shoes. He trained under Jason Amesbury in London mainly focusing on last making.
He opened his own workshop in 2014 in Osaka. Ann. uses the London Lobb method which means to measure feet with a measure tape without scalars. The lasts are made from scratch from a piece of wood, since he offers a true bespoke service, it takes about six months to complete an order.
The shoes made by Ann. are said to be true British shoes that gives a classy and proper impression.
