We are saddened by the news that Carlo Marini, Roman master shoemaker at Marini Calzature, has passed away.

Carlo was the grandson of founder Giuseppe Marini, and has been involved in the family business since 1965. He has made bespoke shoes for the likes of Gianni Agnelli and Queen Elizabeth of England, and has been a lodestar for many in the trade. May he rest in peace.
